Adria M. O’Dea is an accomplished graphic designer who learned her craft in the highly competitive toy industry. At Toy Fair in 1998 she was struck that the world was being buried under a sea of disposable toys. This inspired a return to school where she earned a master’s degree in marine biology. Thousands of hours of microscope time later, Adria’s creative hand was transformed by the organic structures she studied in the lab.
At Barracuda M.A.D., Adria serves as both creative director and senior analyst applying her strengths in complex statistical modeling to help shape business case development and go-to-market strategies for emerging companies. For the past ten years, Adria has developed an exceptional competency in grant writing and has authored numerous successful outreach, infrastructure and facilities grants. Adria serves as member of the board of directors and as the marketing, graphics and website coordinator for San Francisco State University’s Romberg Tiburon Center for Environmental Studies. In her free time, Adria is a competitive cyclist and artisan jeweler who makes custom glass pieces on the torch. email Adria
